  • COMPOSITION
  • Each ml contains:
  • Meloxicam (BP)………………………………. 5 mg
  • INDICATIONS:Diclostar Super (Meloxicam) is non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It has analgesic and antipyretic properties also. Diclostar Super (Meloxicam) an oxicam derivative is reported to be preferential in hibitor of cyclo-oxygenase-2(cox-2).Diclostar Super (Meloxicam) 99% bounds to plasma proteins.(Meloxicam) has a plasma elimination half life of approximately 20 hours. It is extensively metabolised mainly by oxidation and excreted in similar amounts in the urine and in the faeces.
  • ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
  • To be injected by intramuscular route only
  • Cows and Buffaloes: 25 – 35 ml
  • Horses and Camels: 30 – 40 ml
  • Sheep and Goats : 3 – 6 ml
