• COMPOSITION 
• Each gm contains:
• Trichlorfon………………………………….950 mg
• Silicon Dioxide…………………………….50 mg
• INDICATIONS: Tagafon powder is an organophosphorus substance used as a veterinary anthelmintic. It is effective against a wide range of ectoparasites and endoparasites either by direct application or by oral administration. Tagafon powder has an excellent stomach poison action and a good contact & breathing poisons action. Tagafon powder has a broad spectrum of activity being especially effective for the control of parasites such as ascarides, bots, pinworms grubs, soreworms,lice, ticks of domestic animals. It has no action against flukes or tapeworms.
• ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
• External Application:
• 1.5% aqueous solution:
• Biting and sucking lice, fleas on all animals sheep keds and mange mites.
• 1% aqueous solution:
• Skin larvae of Dermatobia hominis
• 2% aqueous solution:
• Migrating larvae and skin larvae of Hypoderma bovis and lineatum.
• Internal Application:
• larvae of bot files ( Gastrophilus) habronema ascarides in horese.
• 35 mg / kg body weight.
• Roundworms in Cattle and sheep.
• 50 mg / kg body weight.
• Stephanofilariasis
• 60-70 mg / kg body weight.
• Nematodes in cattle and sheep bot fly larvae
• 75-80 mg / kg body weight.
